Heart problems

These conditions comprise of a number of disorders. Among them are inherited heart defects that begin or exist at the time of birth. These disorders interfere with the flow of the blood within the heart and from the heart to the lungs. Other disorders include angina, caused by insufficient flow of blood in the coronary arteries; heart attack (myocardial infarction) which results from a blood clot in a coronary artery and death of heart tissue as well as heart failure and disturbances in normal rate and rhythm of the heartbeat (cardiac arrhythmias).
